In 1982, John Demmitt acquired the business and transformed it into a commercial flooring company specializing in both hard and soft surface installations. Tori Demmitt brings a lifelong connection to the commercial flooring industry, having grown up in the business in Colorado. With three degrees and a strong foundation of experience, she leads with a solutions-oriented mindset that supports both clients and the Décor team. Tori is committed to building strong partnerships and delivering innovative, timely solutions with efficient results. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, writing, art, and spending time with her children and friends.
DaNelle Hagan is the Controller at Décor and plays an integral role in the company’s financial strength and overall success. A Colorado native, DaNelle brings a strong background in commercial flooring accounting, with a passion for numbers, organization, and driving business performance. DaNelle’s attention to detail and commitment to accuracy help ensure smooth operations across every project. Outside of work, she is a proud parent of two and enjoys traveling, exploring new destinations, and creating lasting memories with her family.
Eric Kenyon is a seasoned construction professional with over 30 years of industry experience. A Colorado State University graduate with two degrees, he has been a key leader at Décor for more than a decade. After starting as an estimator and project manager, Eric has spent the past seven years as Senior Project Manager and Operations Manager, helping lead complex projects and oversee day-to-day operations. His expertise and leadership are integral to Décor’s continued growth and commitment to excellence. Outside of work, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.
Brian Cody began his career in the flooring industry in 1991 as a residential installer in Fort Collins, Colorado. After more than 30 years in the field, he transitioned into his current role as Assistant Project Manager with Décor in 2023. Brian brings valuable hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the industry, along with a strong appreciation for the coordination and teamwork behind successful projects. When he is not working, Brian loves watching hockey, and hunting.
Kevin Duran serves as Lead Estimator at Décor, bringing decades of industry experience dating back to 1977. Since joining the team in 2020, he has played a key role in evaluating opportunities and guiding the bidding process. Kevin’s background spans estimating, installation, and collaboration with contractors across all phases of a project. His extensive product knowledge and industry certifications further strengthen Décor’s ability to deliver accurate, competitive bids. In his spare time, Kevin sings and plays guitar in a local rock band, and he enjoys spending time with his family.
Born and raised in Colorado, Josh Scheck brings over 20 years of hands-on experience across multiple trades and seven years of estimating expertise to the Décor team. For the past three years, he has played a key role in delivering precise, reliable project estimates that support successful project outcomes. His diverse background allows him to approach each project with a practical, solutions-focused mindset. When he’s not working, Josh enjoys all things cars.
Alex Nevarez has been part of the Décor team for over a decade, starting in the field as a laborer and working his way up to lead installer and foreman. He later transitioned into his current role as an estimator, where he applies his vast knowledge in commercial flooring and field experience to develop precise takeoffs and support successful project outcomes.
Kierstin “Kiki” Demmitt is an integral member of the Décor team, serving as Accounting Assistant, Project Coordinator, and Safety Officer. She supports accounting functions while coordinating project submittals, material procurement, closeouts, and safety documentation. Known for her organization and versatility, Kiki helps keep projects running smoothly from start to finish. She is also a dual citizen of the U.S. and Australia, having lived overseas for nearly 17 years.
Kneko Hiott Demmitt serves as Warehouse Manager at Décor, supporting material logistics across all projects. With over three years in the industry, he is responsible for receiving, organizing, and delivering materials to ensure jobs stay on schedule. Outside of work, Kneko enjoys gaming.
